Center Line, Mich. - The 2004 season may have been Josh Wise's first complete season in USAC National Midget Car Series competition, but when the final numbers are tallied, Wise will sit at the front of the field. Heading into the 64th Annual Turkey Night Grand Prix, Wise and the No. 20 Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team will look to wrap up the runner-up position in the series'
championship.

"We're definitely pleased with our performance as a team this year," Wise said. "To start a season with a brand new team, we've accomplished a lot. We've made some great improvements since the beginning of the year, and we're ready to apply that knowledge to the 2005 season. To come out and be second in the points in our first year, that's pretty big."

Wise and company also have their sites set on winning the Turkey Night Grand Prix, a feat that won't come easily. The No. 20 team is prepared to battle some of the biggest names in open-wheel racing in the hope of earning their first event win.

"Winning Turkey Night would by far be the best way to end this season," Wise said. "A victory on Thursday would speak volumes about how far our pavement program has come this year. Winning this race would be huge, and we feel we're up to that task. The Mopar powerplant will also be an asset to us at Irwindale, as its reliability takes the worry out of the equation. We look to work hard enough to put ourselves in a position to possibly win at the end of 100 laps."

Wise is currently second in USAC National Midget Car Series points, 168 points ahead of third place. For more information regarding Wise or Mopar, log on to www.joshwiseracing.com or www.moparspeed.com.
