Mother Nature claims victory this weekend at Cerro Gordo Speedway.
With over two and a half inches of rain falling within 12 hours and unseasonably cool forecast Mother Nature causes Cerro Gordo Speedway to cancel for this Friday. The track would be in a condition to race but the pits and grandstands were just not going to be ready in time. The make up date for the Stock Heavy special will be May 3rd.
Next week will be a special night as the Quarter Midgets make there return to the Speedway for there first play night for there Summer Shootout Series. We will have all of our weekly classes as well. And this will be the last chance for teams to shake down there karts and Unilli tires before the highly anticipated Unilli Money Series. We will also have the first ever Kids Night as well. We look forward to seeing everyone next week.
