Man, last night wasnt a good night for Emling Racing. I hate tires, lol. we put the wrong one on the right rear. way too hard. lol oh well, stuff happens!:) Good Job, Frankie!!!! -KE

Looks like it was a good night for Cairns Racing.:cool:
 
Wasted Trip To Mt. Vernon

There was no Dashes and only 6 lap heats. No fans in the stands and their standard bad calls in the feature. Look at the DNF's all caused by Zobrist either getting sideways and almost coming to a stop while leading the race and bunching up the field or his antics on the restarts, jambing up the field behind him. If they are going to race later into the season then they need to give the fans something to watch, at least full heats and dashes. I traveled from O'Fallon and it took me longer to drive up and back than the races lasted. Last time I'll waste the trip to Mt. Vernon. As a race fan I like to support any track that will keep racing after the other ones call it a season but the races at Mt. Vernon do not make it worth it. I know they will say it was the cold or all the people went to Eldora or some other excuse but people that come late in the season are prepared for cold or low car counts they just like to see racing. :mad:

If you mean O' Fallon, IL, and not O'Fallon, MO, I find that very hard to believe. That's, what, about a 45-50 minute commute?:rolleyes:

And if they did get the program over quickly, at least you didn't have time to freeze solid like those of us who stuck it out until the very bitter (cold) end at I-55 last night/early this morning. (Although with 140 racecars in the pits, I'm not complaining.)
 
Hmm...sounds like Chad Zobrist ran Mt Vernon the same way I watch him do it in Highland almost every week...

I have to say that i think the LM feature was a great one despite Zorbrist. Chad Burks put on a show. He came from last place and made it up to 4th. Ran the high side and was hitting the chip the whole race. The cars body is trashed and the frame needs some welding, but it was exciting. Wrecker or the Checker!!! Congrates Chad....

Zorbrist caused to many wrecks last night. Victums: Monroe, Miliken, Burks, Utterbrink....and Martin has some metal damage....He should have been given the black flag at the first of the race.
 
I'm glad other people noticed how Zobrist was driving. I thought the first time he caused the spin and wreck that the officials would have sent Zobrist to the back but noooo. Then the second time I thought they would have given Zobrist the black flag but noooo. The way Zobrist was driving was a bunch of BULL. I was glad to see Frankie Martin beat Zobrist. I would doubt that Zobrist would get away with that type of driving very many nights.
