Mt. Vernon Raceway

my wish is that the other three owners buy out the lady that thinks she is the sole owner. I will call her three times a day next week also. Sorry to hear that the track wont open, was looking forward to seeing some race there, especially the summer nationals. What a loss for the racers and fans.
 
Rick, how about the name and phone number of the other owner? Maybe if the other two owners phone was ringing every five minutes and with a little pressure they would change their minds and open the track.
 
I hate to see this happen also, it might not be the prettiest or nicest looking facility but it is an awesome race track to race on, I have to give kudos to the Hecks for trying to keep it alive for so long, I have personally been there and seen the "non" profit they were making after the end of the night and there is no way the majority of us could of kept it open this long. The Hecks love racing so much they tried but the expense I think is too much. By the way, the owner who won't let the track open is a real ***ch, why do you want to be an investor in something and not open it to try and make money? Hopefully Rick and the other owner/investor can find someone to buy miss thing out and put a little money into the facility, get a liquor licsense, and bring this track back to life. With the economy the way it is we can't afford to loose any more tracks.
