Talked to Rick today,
Said they would start running the beginning of May.....trying to skip the really rainy season. So, I guess we got a little time to play at other places...if it doesnt rain there. See ya in May.

You guys still running 4cylinders this year? Heard rumors of street stock?
 
Hornets?...Street stocks?

Hornets still 4 now. Got a diff. car at end of last year, 97 Eagle Talon DOHC 5spd. The old cavalier was a good starter car for Jon. 4th in ponts 1st year out at 14, not to bad. Hoping with the new car to get him up in the front.
Think he needs another year with a faster car before movin up, and they really havent had that many street stocks showin up. So, we'll see how this year goes. Big wish would be move up to mods. Someday!

DID I loan you guys a mudplug for seat height purposes lastyear? LOL I think it was the first night you had the new car there and the youngon needed to be a little higher on the wheel LOL?:p

guess by now i should get him his own huh??? :eek: lol Fits his seat perfect. He's grown some since then. I'll have to see if he even still needs one or not.

Do ya know if its like Jons body style? 95-98 or so. 94 and older are different. I'd sure like to get a backup car. They seem to like beating on his new car more than the ol cav.

Last I heard was testing will be on April 18th with May 2nd as opening night. I did notice however, the sprints have been pulled off the MSCS schedule.

I heard May 2nd also. www.cjsdirttrackracing.com also has Clay County info. when available. Looking forward to racing again also. We have 2 and a half cars ready to go. Will have to try Highland and maybe TriCity until May.
