My trip to Gateway

My trip to gateway ended on somewhat of a sad note. I was involved in a crash on the high banks which sent a fellow driver the the hospital with a broken back after hitting the outside wall at near 100 mph we were in a 4 car draft when his car was lunched over my right rear and air borne into the wall head on

I spoke to his son on Monday night and he informed me that his dad would be having surgery on Tuesday and was expected to have a full recovery with not paralysis which is good news

I went to see the Johnson's at the hospital Tuesday night he did not have surgery but, is in a body cast and may be released today.

His son told me as we walked out to the parking garage that we'll have to get together and have a beer for our next get together, they are good people and I wish "Shorty" a very fast recovery
