ok here we go NASCAR says take off the gloves BUT be nice today. How funny is that at Bristol?
$50 bucks to anyone at Bristol that can cut the cord to DW's mic today. It will be a great day if he would just go home.

Have you noticed all the empty seats? I never would have thought I would see that at Bristol of all places.

Ya got me thinking I might put out another tin can and start saving for next years March race. Havent been there since the 80's Martin got punted

It was crazy how many people not there! The camp grounds were pretty much the same! Our camp is close to the track so that area was un effected ! But overall in general nothing ! To think 3 years ago you could not get a ticket ! They ran the red necks off when the prices went sky high due to the corp world being there and knowing they'd pay - now the corp world is gone and the redneck can't afford it now ! We still had a GREAT time! Will be back next year again .... And the year after and after that as well !

Please send me a pm or just post what you paid to goto Bristol and camp. If you can break it down by camping / tickets /ect. so I will have an idea what I'm looking at for next year. Thinking of just taking the truck and tent camping to make things light on the pocket. And who there to reach to resv. a camp spot. It's been 15 years or so since I have been there so how far is the camp spots now. Thanks <Kent>

Bristol

My son and I camped at a church about 2 miles from the track and paid $220 for the week. The price includes a free continental breakfast and a nice facility for showers. There is no alcohol allowed at this location.
We bought a season ticket down low on the front stretch (not the best seats in the house), and paid $225 per seat for five races (The spring Nationwide, Sprint and Aug Truck, Nationwide and Sprint).
It was good to see Justin Allgaier win his first Nationwide race in person.

2 things I would never expect to see in the same post! LOL

Kent we have done the same deal you asking about it was about 20. a night to tent camp.It was on a farm about a mile or so from the track and they even had showers, firewood, ice, trash pickup they took real good care of us.

He saw me at the track fro the Friday qualifing LOL !!! Tim looks AWESOME !!! It was great to hang with him for a few hours ! Tim was invited to my camp spot but he declined ! LOL ! Wonder why ? : ) I heard they had those package plans ! One of our friends came down with no tickets and snagged one of those ! It was a sweet deal ! We pay 260 for our camp spot but I am also 2 football fields away from turn 3-4 . I am also across the street from the shower house ! All American Camp Grounds is where we have stayed the last 14 years . A few people from the area stays there as well ! Super Dave jenkins and bride Margaret and Mark Snurbusch ( sp ) sportsman driver most of us know as Budda ! And others from the area that went with them as well. We have the most fun at the camp sights ! Met some guys up the hill from us they came down one night to party around the salamander aka ( psyco magnet ) from Troy and they race at Moberly it is always a good time ! Oh yea and Tim next year work on coming over to the Raceway Ministries across the road from my camp sight ! Let me know if you need an in : O LOL !

We stay at Dave and Kays, RV was 230.00 I think for Fri Sat, Sun. It's quiet and across from main entrance from the track (maybe 1mi walk) Farmer Bob's(aka the pit) is cheaper but you gotta have your game on to do 3 days down there. We sit in the Yarbarough sect D 5 rows up, that's right off 2. This is the first year there were open rows around us. Our campground was noticibly less crowded as well. Who knows I probably saw everybody..... Did anyone see the folks selling wood on the way in? Spell check has made us all lazy spellers.....

WE laughed so hard at the sellers of the firewood ! We did see the one that said Far wood for sale was that the one you saw LOL !

I saw that one first and then a four seale. The last one was just WOOD. One of my buddies is a Far man so we wore that out. God love um for trying...

Ya sounds like Eldora they took real good care of me too. When I was done paying for the ice to refill the coolers all weekend and the countless hand fulls of firewood not to say the boozzzz and food I was $500 into the stay. Fairfield would have been cheaper BUT staying at the track with the diehard, not to good to sleep in a tent people was priceless. Had the best time ever at Eldora then next to hanging out with all my friends on the bus trips. Going to miss all of them this year too. Looking forward to Bristol I think Bryan will have a great time. Oh ya 130 thousand people at the races and you haft to run into dirtgirl wow how cool is that? Was she drinking her xxx drinks and walking or just lucky to be standing :)
