(Paducah, KY) Perhaps the third time will be the charm as Paducah International Raceway has rescheduled NASCAR Night I presented by Harrah’s Metropolis Casino & Hotel for Tuesday July 31st, 2007.

Originally scheduled for May 3rd, 2007, NASCAR Night I presented by Harrah’s Metropolis Casino & Hotel was postponed due to rain. It was then rescheduled for Thursday June 7th, 2007 only to have the untimely passing of Racing Pioneer and former NASCAR President and CEO Bill France. The funeral for Mr. France was then scheduled for Thursday June 7th, 2007. The drivers were excused from NASCAR Night I to attend the funeral of Mr. France in Daytona Beach, Florida subsequently postponing NASCAR Night I for a second time.

Tickets for the original date of May 7th will be honored for NASCAR Night I presented by Harrah’s Metropolis Casino & Hotel on Tuesday July 31st, 2007. Tickets at will call may be picked up at the track up until the time of the race. Tickets for the race are still available for purchase by calling 270-898-SHOW (7469).

NASCAR Stars Dale Earnhardt Jr, Ken Schrader and Promoter Bob Sargent purchased Paducah International Raceway in November of 2005. The 3/8th mile high banked oval will host several high profile events including three NASCAR Nights, The USA World 50, and the Tri-Track Challenge.
