NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader to race in USCS Frostbuster 250 at Magnolia Motor Speedway (MS) on Friday 2/28 and Saturday 3/01
Atlanta, GA - 2/25/14 - NASCAR veteran driver, frequent TV motorsports commentator and legendary dirt track racer, Ken Schrader will travel from his racing shop in Concord, North Caolina to compete in the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified portion of the 6th annual USCS Frostbuster 250 prented by Carl Hogan Toyota at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi this Friday, February 28th and Saturday March 1st nights. Schrader won the 2012 USCS Modified portion of the Frostbuster 250 in only his second appearance at the speedway.
Schrader will wheel his Federated Auto Parts sponsored #9 open wheel modified racer on both nights against some of the best racers in the Mid South plus friend and NASCAR veteran, Kenny Wallace all trying to be first to the www.rockauto.com USCS victory lane in the challenge event between the ninth year USCS Modified Series and the new Gulf Coast Modified Series.
Schrader has 970 starts in NASCAR’s top three divisions including 763 Sprint Cup and formerly Winston Cup division semi-retireed from the Sprint Cup Series at the end of 2013, but will race selected ARCA events and concentrate on his dirt track racing. This will be only the third visit to Magnolia Motor Speedway for Schrader.
