NASCAR's jump to fuel injection..

Teams could buy a lot of carburetors for the $25,000 price tag of one fuel injection system..

I've heard that the engine shops will have to spend about $1,000,000 to get up to speed on the system that they are using. $25,000 would buy them about 2 carburetors at that level. I can't see how it will make any real difference from the fans' point of view.

Plus.....you think fuel mileage races ****...just wait. Will take them a couple of years to figure out how much to go to get every last drop of fuel. Weather...altitude......tweeks to the engines all will play alot more of a role.

i don't care thats what the factories are using now. is this going to bleed down to local racing. i can see ump jumping right on this.
