(2/3/09) -- Like the TRUE Monday Morning Keyboard Quarterback... the SUPERBOWL is done: CHUPP is on the UP & UP!!! BLACK SUNSHINE ain't waiting on MONDAY MOYER - While MADDEN Opens with $5,000. Both RANKINGS Top 5 systems are ON THE MOORES??? - Most HEAD to TAMPA for the WINTERNATIONALS... for a weeks worth of Southern and National RANKINGS events - the TOP 5 TALLYING SYSTEM tells the TALE... that and much more in this the combined SUPERBOWL of RACING's Southern and National RANKINGS Report # 090203.

Kicking things off last Wednesday was MotherNature showing her........ but that didn't stagger Chris Madden as ole SMOKEY showed exactly why he is the reigning Southern RANKINGS Champion. Holding off the SHOW STOPPA, Randle Chupp, Madden collected the $5,000. prize at the South Georgia costal track Thursday. The # 44 "Century Plastics Inc, Hamrick's of Gaffney, Cushman Paint & Body" sponsored Bloomquist / Clements powered machine would collect a 4th place nod the next night, and in the Saturday finale, would be, lets say.... LESS THAN ZERO, when he and the bossman collided.

The BOSSMAN: Scott Bloomquist fresh of his Thursday night $7,500. winning route, seemed to be heading to another victory Saturday night, when the collision with Madden (being lapped) ended the # 0 "Miller Bros. Coal Inc., All-Star Performance, Hawkeye Trucking" sponsored Vic Hill powered run on the SUPERBOWL of RACING finale. Madden was whisked away with a later reported hairline fracture near his wrist. The first two nights of the SUPERBOWL the runner-up was Randle Chupp, and on the final night, he didn't disappoint. The 2nd generation racer put on a clinic from worst to first for the $10,000.

Chupp and the # 22 "Powell Construction, Starrette Trucking, Wolf-Pack Racing" sponsored Rocket machine now owns the sole lead in the Southern RANKINGS, with the bonus $5,000. to-WIN SUPERBOWL of RACING points race, Saturday night. Chupp picked up an additional 15 PTS., for finishing 3rd in that 25 lapper, that Jimmy Owens won. Bloomquist leads the National RANKINGS with Saturday night runner-ups John Blankenship and Matt Miller following, as the next $10,000. to-WIN paying event is set for Thursday, February 5th in Tampa, with the Lucas Oil Dirt series at East Bay.

Again the Southern & Northern RANKINGS has changed some of its tabulations for 2009. Gone is the Lite RANKINGS, meaning the two regional systems will now tally events paying $3,500. - $6,999. to-WIN Super Late Model dirt-races. National RANKINGS events will cover all $7,000. to-WIN paying events or higher anywhere in the US and Canada. The Southern and Northern regions borders will remain the same. Other rankings system tallies are handled in the Central US and Western states respectfully by other media's.
