CARTERSVILLE, GA – Brandon Leftwich of Meridian, MS still leads the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies point standings after Week 11 competition, but several drivers made major moves with victories over the weekend to climb the points list, and put themselves as title contenders in the coming weeks.

Jeff Butler of Mendenhall, MS won two races on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS. The defending NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock National Champion Trey Bright of Coker, AL took his fourth win in the last five weeks on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

Jeremy Idom of Hattiesburg, MS picked up his series leading seventh win of the 2014 NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division season on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. After taking a few weeks off to build a new race car, Tyler Hurst of Lineville, AL returned to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on Saturday night to take his sixth win of the season.

Butler drove the B&B Racing Chevrolet powered by a $3,295 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to his second NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division win of the season in the Week 10 Make Up race, and followed that up later in the evening with a second victory and his third of the season on the Week 11 race.

Bright just made the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division main event on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park, as his crew was able to replace the rear end assembly under his Eaton Clinic/AR Bodies Chevrolet between the heat races and the main event. Bright drove to his fourth win of the season powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

After picking his Week 11 50 point weekly total on Friday night to close in on Leftwich and David Windham of Florala, AL in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings, Idom went to Jackson Motor Speedway to run for Week 10 points in the first feature and finished second to Butler in both races driving the Performance Bodies “Throwback” 1957 Chevrolet.
