CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week 10 of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will see a Baker’s Dozen of events this Friday and Saturday nights with seven races in the West Region and six races in the East Region. Several drivers will be looking to add to their win totals as they close in on the 16 start mark.

Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR and Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS will open the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region action on Friday night. Justin Asplin of Birch Tree, MO will be looking for his second straight win at Batesville Motor Speedway.

NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region point leader Michael Arnold of Hattiesburg, MS will be looking for his seventh win of the season at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park. Arnold will also be making his final preparations to take on the National Touring drivers on Friday night June 12 when the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series comes to HMP for the $2,000-to-win Fabgrill 40 Presented By Motorhead Grills.

West Region Saturday night action will take place at Central Mississippi Speedway in Winona, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, South Mississippi Speedway in Gulfport, MS, and Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS.

Cliff Williams of Star, MS will be after his second straight and fourth West Region win of the season at Jackson Motor Speedway. JMS drivers will also be getting ready for the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Touring event at Jackson Motor Speedway on Saturday night, June 13. It will be the first appearance for the National Tour at JMS since 2006.

Magnolia Motor Speedway will also be hosting its first NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Touring Race since 2006 on Sunday night, June 14. NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National point leader Eric Cooley of Fulton, MS took the NeSmith Chevrolet WRS West Region win at The Mag on May 24.

Randall Beckwith of Kilmichael, MS was the winner last week at Central Mississippi Speedway, and will be gunning for his fourth win of the season at CMS. Arnold took the win last Saturday night at South Mississippi Speedway and on May 23 at Pike County Speedway.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region will host events on Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL and Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, GA. Saturday night East Region races will be hosted by Mountain Raceway Park in Maryville, TN, Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC, East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.

NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region point leader Scott Knowles of Lanett, AL is out for his eighth East Region win of the season this Friday night at Penton Raceway. Knowles is undefeated in NeSmith Chevrolet WRS East Region competition at Penton Raceway, and won the National Touring event there last Friday night.

Jacob Grizzle of Blairsville, GA will be looking to keep his East Region win streak alive at Sugar Creek Raceway and Tri-County Race Track. Grizzle swept the weekend competition at both tracks last Friday and Saturday nights in his first weekend of East Region racing.

Josh Henry of Newport, TN will be at Mountain Raceway Park on Saturday night looking for his second straight and fourth NeSmith Chevrolet WRS East Region win of the season. Terrance Nowell of Phenix City, AL is out for his second straight East Region win of the season on Saturday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway.

The 2007 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region Champion Logan Yates of Delta, AL will be looking for his second straight, and third overall East Region win of the season on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track.
