CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series drivers in both the East and West Regions will have a choice of how they earn points during Week 11. There will be eight events, five in the East Region and three in the West Region, where they can earn full points, and there will also be three National Touring events where they can earn up to 30 bonus points.
NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region events for Week 11 begin Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL. Saturday night events are set for Mountain Raceway Park in Maryville, TN, Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, and East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL.
Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR will open NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region action on Friday night. NeSmith Chevrolet WRS West Region Saturday night events will be held at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS and South Mississippi Speedway in Gulfport, MS.
The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour will be in action this weekend with a Mississippi Triple Header where all drivers that participate in the three events will earn 10 Regional Bonus Points for each event they participate in. NeSmith Chevrolet WRS drivers can earn up to 40 Bonus Points during the season that are added to their Top 16 Regional point totals.
Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS will host the first NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Touring event of the weekend on Friday night with the $2,000-to-win Fabgrills 40 Presented by Motorhead Grills. Hattiesburg Motorsports Park will also be having a fundraiser to benefit the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS will be having a $2,500-to-win 50-lap main event for the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Tour on Saturday night, and Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS will have the finale of the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Tour on Sunday night with a $2,000-to-win 40-lap main event.
