KRCG, channel 13 has began a weekly racing report from Callaway Raceway to be aired on Thursdays.
Rod Smith, sports director, aired the first segment tonight, from the test and tune Saturday. They included a interview with 14 year old late model driver Blake David.
I dont know at this point if it will be Callaway only, but I urge all tracks in the area to send in great clips of local racing.
Rod Smith has been with channel 13 for many years, he was fired by the parent company last year because they were trying to cut costs, through local support they were forced to re-hire him. Lets show him our support for taking another direction with local sports broadcasting.
