No Frame on newer cars

What happens to street stock or anyone who runs a stub front end, when most of the newer cars do not have full frames under them. What will the racetracks rules be changed to?? Chrysler has not had a full frame car for years and Ford is slowly going to the wayside and most of the cars now are Chevy, so what happens when chevy no longer makes a full frame car?? Does anyone have any Ideas ? It will not be much longer when there are no more chevys with frames, same with fords..........???

I am sure that when that time comes everything will more than likely be a full tube chassis. Only time will tell but i see where you are coming from with this post. Makes you wonder.

full tube chassis will be in every class and the only differences will be bodies and motor rules!

I also think in the not too distant future we’ll slowly start seeing pickup and full size SUV type classes popping up to take the place of the bomber and street stock/sportsman levels of racing. It’s happening in other regions now… Just not so much here in our area.

For the modified classes I’m thinkin’ like Tom and Joey… Fully fabricated chassis are on the horizon within the next few years.

Judging by looks of what some of the major manufacturers are calling front clips these days I'd say it's sooner than later. I really don't know what is going to become of the "frame cars" when this does come about though. That to me is more important than simply saying everyone can run full perimeters. What is going to happen to those cars once the tube takes over?

for the street stocks

when this happens, it will be difficult for someone in the garage at home to build a street stock..... i really did not think about this until i started wrenching on my cousin's street stock and noticed that out of twenty cars two maybe were fords...

frame connectors

i talked with a tech guy about this and appears everything would have to have frame connectors and full trunk areas, i know that this can happen, ask someone runnning a dodge product...
