Northern All Star/UMP Late Model Series rolls in Tri-City Speedway this Friday, August 31st!

Pontoon Beach, IL (August 29, 2007) The Northern All Star/UMP DIRTcar Late Model Series makes a stop at Tri-City Speedway this Friday night. Steve Sheppard of New Berlin, Illinois leads the current points chase for the Northern All Star Championship and with $2,000 up for grabs for the winner, some top late model contenders from around the Midwest will be ready to battle it out.

The UMP DIRTcar Modifieds will also be competing for a top prize of $1,000 along with the CARS Series crate late models, Street Stocks and UMP Factory Stocks.

Kenny Wallace and Kenny Schrader will both be on hand and will be racing.

Kids will get to meet Ronald McDonald from 5:30 - 7:30pm and everyone in attendance will get discount coupons for McDonalds.

General admission is $15 with kids 12 and under free. Pit admission is $30 for all ages. Pit gate and grandstands open at 5pm with hotlaps at 6:30pm and group qualifying at 7pm.
