(CAMARGO, IL) 4-25-07 The O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions is pleased to announce that Maxim Chassis will be the official chassis of the series for 2007 and beyond. A 5-year agreement has been reached between All Star president Guy Webb and Maxim chief Chuck Merrill to bring American made products to “America’s Series”. Maxim has long been a leader in the chassis industry and their continued support of sprint car racing in the United States and abroad is unmatched.

Maxim founder Chuck Merrill takes great pride in their American made product. He goes so far as to give a three race guarantee on the quality of his chassis. “One choice. One chance. One winner. In a competitive arena, one opportunity is all you have to succeed,” says
Merrill. “Buy a Maxim and race the car for three races. If you don't
like the car for any reason, return the car - without damage - and Maxim will refund all your money or build you a new car!"

In November of 1988, Merrill rented a three bay garage while a 7000 square-foot manufacturing plant was being built for the newly founded Maxim, Inc. Maxim moved into the new facility in June of 1989 with a total of six employees. In 2002, the company outgrew that facility with nearly 20 employees running two shifts due to the demand for its products. They constructed a 12,500 square foot building complete with a 2-story show room on the east side of Springfield, IL.

The addition of the second shift enabled Team Maxim to nearly double its weekly production of race cars and race car components. They currently produce around 400 chassis per year as well as a variety of bolt on components. Team Maxim continues to build the safest and fastest sprint cars in the world.

“We’re excited to have Maxim be a part of the future of the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions,” stated series president Guy Webb. “Chuck and the Maxim brand exemplify what ‘America’s Series’ is all about.
Built from the ground up with emphasis put on helping the little guy to succeed in this business, Maxim has become an icon in our sport.”
