(CAMARGO, IL) 4-2-07 The O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions are well rested after the long trip to Florida in early February and are now preparing to take on the tough Ohio locals at Attica Raceway Park. The Attica Coors Light Spring Nationals has become an All Star tradition at the high banked 1/3 mile facility in North Central Ohio. With the many improvements made by track promoter John Bores and Director of Operations Rex LeJeune over the off-season it will only add to the excitement. New lighting, a new front stretch catch fence, and new pit bleachers are a few of the more noticeable upgrades made over the winter.

Greg Wilson, who picked up a win at Attica’s season opener last Friday night, will return to defend his 2006 All Star Championship. Danny Smith, Dale Blaney, Shane Stewart, Brian Paulus, Brock Mayes, Paul May, Brandon Martin, Brian Ellenberger, Craig Mintz, Tom Busch and a host of other All Star competitors will be trying to dethrone Wilson in the coming months. The level of weekly 410 competition at Attica Raceway Park will see the likes of Byron Reed, Mike Linder, John Ivy, Lee Jacobs, and Mike Linder (to name just a few) give the All Stars a run for their money.

The All Stars will be implementing their new right rear tire rule beginning this weekend. The series has fallen in line with the national right rear spec tire offered by Hoosier. This new 105/18-15 tire features a stiffer construction and is available in three compounds (SC12, SC15, and SC25). It will utilize the same tread design and tire dimensions as the open competition right rear. The new spec tire is now available from local vendors.

Along with the new rules implemented by the O’Reilly All Stars for 2007, Attica Raceway Park now requires the use of mufflers for the 2007 season. The rule changes for the All Star series can be found in the
2007 series rule book or by going to the All Star web site and clicking the “Rules & Procedures” menu button.
