Beebe, Arkansas (5/14/08) – The O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Models will roll on with their 2008 campaign this Friday and Saturday night with a pair of events in Southwest Arkansas.

Last weekend, the tour made its first ever trip to Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi. Two great shows were held with Jeff Taylor and Ray Moore each picking up a $2,000 feature win.

Defending series’ champion, Joey Mack from Benton, Missouri, continued his hot start to the 2008 season with a pair of top five runs. Jeff Floyd, who is currently second place in the point standings continued his string of bad luck with mechanical woes throughout the weekend. He charged to a 6th place finish on Friday night in his back up car, but oil pump difficulties on Saturday night relegated him to a DNF. Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year Contender, Jon Kirby, from Russellville, Arkansas had a strong weekend and moved into the third position in the series’ points with Ray Moore, and another Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year Contender, Ross Camponovo, currently rounding out the top five in the point standings.

This weekend the top five drivers in the point standings will be joined by a tough cast of competitors as the tour takes another double dip in the Razorback state. Drivers expected to compete at one or both events over the course of the weekend include Billy Moyer Jr. (Arkansas), Dewaine Hottinger (Arkansas), Jack Sullivan (Arkansas), Gary Scott Christian (Oklahoma), Randy Mitchell (Oklahoma), Jeff Sloan (Missouri), Keith Craft (Arkansas), Eric Conner (Arkansas), Kyle Beard (Arkansas), Jon Mitchell (Arkansas), and many more.
