All Sportmod/B-Mod drivers must have raced a minimum of 5 times at any track that runs the Sportmod/B-Mod class to race for the $2,000 to win. This rule is per Charlie and the sponsor. Drivers will be verified by the tracks website results.
Sportmod/B-Mods must follow Fayette County Speedway and Highland’s rules. Please check the rules to make sure your car is legal….they will be checked over by the tech thoroughly.
Classes: Modified, Street Stock, Sportmod/B-Mod, Hornet, Purestock and High School Hornets.
The payout will be increased for the Hornet and Purestock classes. More details will be posted by Friday.

Fantastic. Bought a car to run this class next year, and now it will have to go somewhere else for the rest of this year.

The 5 race minimum rule for the Sportmod/B-Mod class does not include any Purestock, Street Stock, or Hornet driver that will be running a Sportmod/B-Mod for this event.

I believe the idea is to protect the race from mod whackers...... you can move up but not move down........... Maybe poorly worded......... bottom line is this race is supposed to be a fun race weekend for anyone who comes......camping encouraged i think there are festivities planned for the night.... thursday night practice.. track will be ready and availible for as many laps as you want

Probably so guys that normally race in the higher classes (in example Modified and Late Model) don't hop in a Sportmod and take the money. Smart move for the track, ought to help on car count.
That's the way it should be. You got that right TNracefan, & kudos to Charlie for doing this.

Adam, you know damn good and well why, no disrespect to you, but you know good and well this put a STOP to picking, yes it was a question & I think you know why I disliked. OK Hang in there bro, we'll see better racing this way. NO DISRESPCT..I think this is the way it should be, just like the taking to the street SHOULD have been the same rules. & I know who won that, a ss driver. JMO Thank you.

there was talk of guys like mike harrison, brian bielong , and others getting into some cars the folks putting up the money want an average joe to win this money. i like both mike and brian but they several attempts thru out the year to race for big money so i think this is the best way to limit who is eligible kudos to track and folks putting money up cant wait for this show

No problem.
Seen many rules over the years but never one like that. So I asked.
I see the reasoning behind it.
