Due to excessive amounts of rain last night and this morning on the already soggy Boothill Speedway grounds and even more predicted between now and Friday, the inaugural King of The Hill 10,000 scheduled for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 15th through the 17th, has been postponed to a later date to be announced. With so many out-of-towners planning on making this trip and so little chance of getting the track into any kind of racing condition, track management felt it best to postpone early and hope for better weather later. Up to 6 inches is expected in the Shreveport, Louisiana area over the next 2 days and as anyone who attended Boothill's Louisiana State Dirt Track Championship this past weekend can tell you, the track will not be able to recover from that in time to race this weekend.

All who pre-entered can expect a call from the promoter and offered their entry fee back. Another date for this fall will be sought.

The first couple of entries have trickled in! Now it's time to open the faucet up!!! Try right clicking this and see if it prints out. DON'T FORGET to have the entry form NOTARIZED! And DON'T WAIT! Got $25 to gamble with? Let's see, what's the best odds out there in a casino town????

Well, you could buy 25 lottery picks! But you'd still have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than winning that 80 million.

You could take it to one of the boats (casinos) and kill about 30 minutes if your lucky.

Or...

Take a 1 in 800 chance or BETTER on winning a racecar with it! And not just any racecar, but a legal racecar that just beat the best factory stocks in the area for a S10,000 victory at Boothill Speedway on October 17th. (And remember 'racecar' spelled backwards is still 'racecar'!) The winner's car will be raffled off AFTER it passes technical inspection so yes, you will have to have the heads and oil pan put back on it and maybe reassemble a few other things but you will get the complete car if your $25 raffle ticket is drawn and there will be no more than 800 sold! And YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!

Call 318-773-9159 to inquire about the raffle tickets or email acecab777@aol.com . If you are in the Shreveport area, go by RJ's Restaurant on Mansfield Road (US 171) to purchase your raffle tickets!

ALSO...

The October 1st deadline for the $100 pre-entry rate is rapidly appraoching for the 1st Annual King of The Hill 10,000 -- THE $10,000 to win Factory Stock race at Boothill Speedway near Shreveport, Louisiana on October 16th and 17th! (Practice Oct 15th) That deadline is a week OR LESS away now. After that, it goes to $150. But REMEMBER....

REMEMBER to NOTARIZE your ENTRY FORM!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!! Because the winner's car is being raffled off, your ENTRY FORM MUST BE NOTARIZED and yes, there will a notary person at the race track on October 15th, 16th and 17th. Non-notarized entry forms have to be returned.

It saves you $50 to pre-enter! That's way more than he price of a notary stamp so send in that NOTARIZED entry form TODAY!!!

Mail to: Boothill Speedway P.O. Box 38575 Shreveport Louisiana 71133
