October Midget Races

Why do Tri City and Belle-Claire have midget races on the same night, October 6th. I know one is a USAC race and one is an I-Power event, but are their enough cars and drivers to have a decent field at both events.

POWRi has enough cars that follow that circuit to put on a good show. They get 25-35 cars at Belle Clair.

Not that night they wont, that is the stupidest scheduling conflict ive seen. POWRi had that show the 13th and moved it to the 6th a couple weeks ago. Why would you schedule a normal midget show up against the Gold Crown with such a big purse is beyond me!!!

Please don't confuse this with me as i don't have anything to do with the POWRi scheduling unless it is a mixed show with stockcars. POWRi has always had a show the 1st saturday in october. Maybe he is not happy with usac moving on top of his weekend! Don't know just sayin!

I was told this was due to USAC having a rev limiter on the car and the POWRI guys not having one. If they wanted to run USAC they would have to buy a rev limiter.

Let me rephrase the question, Are their enough midget fans to make both races profitable.

FansI can't be at two tracks at one time. I liked seeing the POWRi drivers duking it out with the USAC crowd at TCS. Even if the conflicting date is resolved I guess they won't be there due to the rev limiter issue. Too bad for everyone.

Yes they did and that is why it was not co-santioned by POWRI and not a lot of cars from that series. But as flying Penguin said Fans cannot be at both tracks.
