Off topic but need help... turbo problem

I have a mits eclipse turbo....... i did a mod. to it... ( cut off the snorkel in the intake tube).... it is louder ( which is normal) but amist the louder jet like sound...... it now has a sort of grinding sound when the turbo spools up.... just is kinda worrying me... doesnt seem right...I know alot about motors but not alot about turbos.... so any insight would be mucho appreciated..... I been askin around tryin to get some answers and have had no luck so far.... if anyone knows anything please post somethin,lol thanks, Joe

I have checked all hose clamps and everything is tight.... so boost leak shouldnt be the prob.... but maybe im wrong....

Turbos don,t seem to last very long, thing was probally noisy to begin with and the snorkel muffled the noise, If ya dont have an air filter on it ya may have ****ed some debris in it, or the oil feed line may be clogged and its killin the bearings in it...
