ya,at my age all i am good 4 is a couple of laps, just a old has been that never won a race but got in the leaders way plenty of times,,,,,

Maybe Lenny needs to put a used pie pan on the dash and follow the outside edge to get back to the start/fnish line.

The vintage cars are having 28-30 cars show up every time out this year. A lot of new cars and these things are fast. None of them look alike, a lot of variety. The best show in local racing at this time. This class has a no contact rule so its all good clean racing.

Hey Lenny I remember you winning a mod feature in the old days at St. Charles one night. I forget what year but they lined up by point average and the top 12 were inverted. I remember you starting on the front row. I am not sure if it was in the Bob Smart/John Seets mod that they had but it looked like it could have been. I think you won right at the line. That was an exciting night, I always love when an underdog wins.

the second place car was ed dixon, right call on the car but the maverick body was long gone by then,,dave watters built the car as best i can remember,,lots of good races at the old charlie bowel...in regards to pulling in the last 2 times in the 25 car was fuel issues,,in my sportsman i finished 95% of race laps this year..after watching laped cars take out leaders i figure its best to get the fluck outa da way..but then 3abrest & cmora let me know who you root for so i can be sure to stay out and get in their way,,,darn,i am getting to sound like my pal dirtboy LOL

Some i know will be there! Kenny Shrum, Ray Eby, Bill Pezold, Marv Pruett, Charlie Johnson. I will have some checkered flags you can get autographed or bring items. Word has it that Eby will be hot lapping Stu Springers Sportsman car!
