What does everyone (those who are actually racing anyway) think about allowing right front beadlocks on the "A" & "B" mods? Please post your thoughts on this matter.

Thanks DEREK

I would say let them use one all it will do is cause less cautions and more racing....shouldn't hear to many people complain on this matter..JMO:cool:

I agree with them, I think it would be more beneficial to allow them. Quick question though? Would this be a required thing or just an "if you want to"?

Optional

RF beadlock would not be required. it would be up to the driver whether or not to run it, same as the RR.

Come on guys, I thought this was something that "everybody" was for and so far I have only gotten 1 response from someone who actually has a modified?

"only gotten 1 response from someone who actually has a modified"

Um, we "actually" have a modified that will be running there - in fact, we "actually" have 2 at the moment, thank you!

I dont see it as a neccessity. Not a wise alternative considering we arent going to be able to run them anywhere else. Just another unnecessary expense. The Aero 52 series wheel has a rolled inner bead that is IMCA legal that does the same thing, with out the beadlock, and the extra rotating weight..No rules need be bent or modified for that.. I give a NO...

I'll vote yes on the right front beadlock. For those that dont feel its necessary, just dont run them. Then there is no extra expense. But why argue against something that is not a speed advantage & is purely a safety/reliability issue? My operation has lots of used parts in it. It seems like I can always find a used beadlock in good shape at about every swap meet. As the non-beadlocks are always trashed. As far as not being able to use them anywhere else, where else are they running these type of b-mods that we could go? Malden will let you use them. Anyway these are just my opinions.

Vintage Racer

If the Aero 52 is the end all be all, why are racers still using the rr beadlock? If using rf beadlock is such a disadvantage why the opposition, its not mandatory. Oh yeah, I can use that wheel at every UMP track too:)

i see the rules are trying to be change already. just like any other track the rule say no why change it for certain people, next year or later in the year you'll want to run them on all 4 wheels and then next week change another rule. why does people always want to change the rules go late model or to the class that lets you run them.

My thougnts are, allow them if you have a girl with
really great boobs on your pit crew... Daisy Duke
shorts would be optional:D

Rf Bl

We would have no use for a RF beadlock. I don`t know of any mods that have had a problen with RF wheel, unless you run under 6lbs. Not needed.

beadlock

Rule will remain as is, Beadlock on Right Rear only!
I only mentioned this on here because I had a few people asking about them. I thought if the majority of the guys running mods wanted RF beadlocks, then we would allow them. There was not as much interest as I was led to believe that there would be, so the rule stands as is.

Thanks to all for the opinions,
DEREK
