TULSA, Okla. (January 18, 2007) – With the 2007 racing season officially kicked off with last weekend's O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa, OK, the focus now shifts to Tampa's East Bay Raceway Park as the initial Sprint Car events of the year fire off at the 31st Annual Winter Nationals.

And with the Fast Lane Apparel Triple Crown Challenge in effect, some serious money is on the line as one driver could potentially pocket over $100,000.

Racing action starts next Thursday night, January 25, with the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series season opener. After preliminary events on Thursday and Friday, a $10,000 winner's share is up for grabs in the Ninth Annual "King of the 360's" Ronald Laney Memorial on Saturday, January 27.

Action atop the semi-banked, 1/3-mile East Bay Raceway Park dirt oval continues the next week, with the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless wingless 410-ci Sprint Cars hitting the track on Monday (January 29), Wednesday (January 31) and Friday (February 2).

The wingless warriors will be alternating nights with the winged 410-ci Sprint Cars, which will be in action on Tuesday (January 30), Thursday (February 1) and Saturday (February 3).

The February 2 Sprint Bandits TNT finale and the February 3 winged Sprint finale are both lucrative ones, with $10,000 to each winner.

In addition, another $75,000 is available to the one driver that can win all three finales, including the January 27 O'Reilly ASCoT Ronald Laney Memorial, the February 2 Sprint Bandits TNT main event and the February 3 winged 410-ci Sprint final. Any driver that wins two of the three finals will earn an extra $5,000. To be eligible for the bonus, drivers must be pre-entered prior to the first event on January 25.

Practice for the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour portion of East Bay Raceway Park's Winter Nationals will be next Wednesday, January 24, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Practice for both the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits TNT wingless Sprint Cars and the open Winged 410-ci Sprint Cars will be Sunday, January 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., following that day's Vintage Day event from noon to 4:00 p.m.

East Bay Raceway Park is located off I-75 Exit 250, then two miles west, then 1.2 miles north on US 41, then right 1.3 miles on Old US 41 to Burts Road. For more information, contact the track at 813-677-7223.

The O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National slate will consist of approximately 50 nights of racing at nearly 30 different tracks throughout the nation in 2007.

The 2007 season will mark the 16th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, with the series set to sanction more than 225 nights of racing at approximately 100 different race tracks throughout at least 30 different states and Canada.

In addition to the East Bay triple-header, the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless series will once again sanction another six events throughout the Midwest in August.
