LEXINGTON, KY--The sixth point’s race of the 2004 racing season for the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts is set to take place this Saturday Night, May 15 at the Soggy Bottom Speedway in Morgantown, KY. It will be the third ever appearance for Kentucky's Premier Dirt Late Model Sanctioning Body at the Mack and Lesa Gabbard promoted facility which opened in 1989. In the two previous BoB visits Johnny Wheeler and Aaron Hatton have come home the winners. Also on the race card for the first time at Soggy Bottom will be the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series.
There will be a complete race program for the BoB drivers with Racing Optics Time Trials, Crown Spray Power Heat Races, O'Reilly Auto Parts B-Mains and the 40 Lap Lucas Oil A-Main. The Late Model feature will pay $3000 to win and the Modified feature will pay $1500 to win. Pit gates will open at 2 pm CST with General Admission tickets priced at $15 for the grandstands and $30 for the pits.
Soggy Bottom Speedway is located in Morgantown, KY. Take the Western Kentucky Parkway to exit 27 at the Natcher Parkway, then go two and a half miles south on state road 70.
