LEXINGTON, KY -- The O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts has a weekend double-header in the Volunteer State with a stop Friday night, July 15th at Crossville's Raceway USA and then Saturday night, July 16th at Scenic Raceway.
Both nights will feature a complete program for the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series with Racing Optics Time Trials, VP Fuels Makin' Power Heats, B-Mains, and an A-Main paying $3,000 to win each night. Senoia, GA's Clint Smith and Lenoir City, TN's Patrick Duggan have won the series previous two visits to Crossville's Raceway USA while 2003 BoB Champion Mike Marlar, of Winfield, TN, won in the series' only visit to the Scenic Raceway.

Scenic Raceway is a 1/2-mile clay oval with corners banked 24 degrees and seating for 4,500. Twelve races into the season, the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts has had eleven different winners. Dunnville, KY's Whitney McQueary, the only two-time winner on the tour this year, leads the current series point standings ahead of Mike Jewell (Scottsburg, IN), Tim Tungate (Campbellsville, KY), Aaron Hatton (Mt. Sterling, KY), and Chris Combs (Isom, KY). To date, over 180 different drivers have competed with the series in 2005.
