Malden, MO – This Saturday night the O’Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour kicks off it’s 2007 season when Malden Speedway in Malden, MO hosts the O'Reilly USCS (www.uscsracing.com) Mid-South Thunder Tour. The event will pay $2000 to win and it is possible for one driver to win $2200 by winning the Lucas Oil Power Dash, heat race and A-feature.
This event which was originally scheduled to occur on March 30th but became part of Malden Speedway's March 23rd-24th, 1st annual "Bootheel 200" event. Entries are expected from at least six states for the first of 30
nights of O'Reilly Mid-South Thunder events.
The O'Reilly USCS sprint cars will run the complete program during Saturday's portion of the racing in the two day event that will feature lots of side by side racing over the two days in seven divisions including the O'Reilly USCS sprint cars, USCS Open Wheel Modifieds, Malden's Crate Late Models, Hobby Stock, Street Stock, Mini Stock and E-MOD classes.
The O'Reilly USCS drivers and teams will also have a pre-season practice opportunity at Malden Speedway on Friday night, March 23rd. The practice session is scheduled to make time available for the sprint car drivers three times during the Friday evening pole-qualifying rounds for the other six divisions.
The event will feature a USCS double-header with a $1500 to win 30-lap USCS Open Wheel Modified A-Main. With posted bonuses, $2000 is possible to win in the USCS Open Wheel Modified division. For more info on the O'Reilly
