The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region will return to racing this weekend as the Ultimate Southeast Tour will have two spectacular events on schedule; Friday April 26th Laurens County Speedway ($4,014) and Saturday April 27th Dixie Speedway ($4,000).
On Friday April 26th the Ultimate Southeast Region will travel to Laurens County Speedway located in Laurens, South Carolina for the "3rd Annual Ronnie Brookshire Memorial" event paying $4,014 to win. The event will be 40 laps. Along with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region Laurens County Speedway support divisions will be on the race program as well. Pit gates are set to open at 4:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 6:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 7:00 PM with racing to follow. Pit admission will be $35 for Adults with ages 11 and under free. Grandstand admission will be $20 for Adults with ages 11 and under free.
On Saturday April 27th the Ultimate Southeast Region will make their return to the historic Dixie Speedway located in Woodstock, Georgia as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary season. A $4,000 to win 40 lap feature will headline the event plus racing in their local support divisions. Pit gates are set to open at 4:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:30 PM with racing to follow. Pit admission will be $40 for Adults with ages 11 and under $15. Grandstand admission will be $18 for Adults, Ages 9-17 $6, and ages 8 and under free. Adult tailgate $25 with ages 11 and under $15.
Headed into the weekends events the current top five in the Ultimate Southeast standings include defending Tour champion Zack Mitchell (123 PTS), Daulton Wilson (95 PTS), Dustin Mitchell (68 PTS), Brandon Overton (66 PTS), and Donald McIntosh (61 PTS).
In four completed events the Ultimate Southeast Tour has seen four different winners which include Michael Page, Dustin Mitchell, Dale McDowell, and Zack Mitchell.
