Passing points at Belleville?

Nah... Passing points def makes for better racing anymore I look to just get in to a dash spot... Then it's ANOTHER dice role or golf ball luck game if it's passing points and I start third in the heat better believe I'm wanting to win to get a good starting spot in dash typically how I look at it anyway
Yea that's true, but if you start 8th and finish 4th and still have to run a semi. That's not cool. If it were passing points you could make the front of the feature

Ok so if you start third your trying to win?? I believe we all are!!
And if I start 8th and run 4th and have to run consi??? Wouldn't I try harder to make it to front.. Which would put on better show??? With passing points if I start 8th and run 4th in heat some nights that might put me in dash or better. How's that better show? So if I know there's not a lot of passing and I pass cars why push it?
I just don't see how it's better show?
I'm thinking fan perspective.

I see your point, but it sure does sucks when you start 4th or 5th, work your tail off to win the heat and the dice roll starts you p6.
I can see why Daryn posted this thread. Last season he was the king of drawing high pills lol. He's just trying to make a better opportunity after drawing a high 70 pill. If we are gonna not use passing points, no complaints should be said from the 1s pits when you draw a high pill. Lol

I can see why Daryn posted this thread. Last season he was the king of drawing high pills lol. He's just trying to make a better opportunity after drawing a high 70 pill. If we are gonna not use passing points, no complaints should be said from the 1s pits when you draw a high pill. Lol

I just want to say one last thing. I have ran micros with powri since its inception. At first they would take top three from each heat to lock into the main event. This was back when powri had 60 to 70 micros show up for a night of racing.
Now from my standpoint I was a nervous wreck going to pill draw because I knew it would be tough to make the a main drawing a number higher than, let's say 30.
In recent years powri has utilized the passing point system. So how I feel now after I draw say a 50 at pill draw. I feel optomistic because passing a few cars in my heat will get me locked into the show.
Then powri takes the top 16 point getters to the main and the rest have to run a b main.
This is why I feel Daryn kleins pain. Just my experience

This definitely is a tricky one. I honestly like the hot lap/qualifying deal but it's not always the best for the fans. No matter what somebody will be pissed. I don't care what they do but I wish every track in the area would do the same. And if they want to keep this RR40 rule then they definitely need to start punching them or punch them and mark them where you run the same RR all night.
