(INDIANTOWN, FLORIDA) "Mr. Showtime" Patrick Sheltra, of Indiantown,
Florida, will be taking this weekend off to prepare for his four race ALMS
swing in Ohio over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Patrick will be
getting some more seat time behind the wheel of his new Rocket Chassis,
which is being housed at the Terry Eaglin Motorsports shop in Versailles,
IN. His four-race Ohio swing will include events at the Attica Raceway
Park, the Oakshade Raceway, the Eldora Speedway, and the Fremont Speedway.
In addition to more seat time in his new Rocket, Patrick is also using the
trip to tackle the high-banks of Eldora Speedway in preparation for the June
11-12 'Dream 100,' which pays a cool $100,000 to win.

Patrick is coming off a weekend where he jumped from ninth to sixth in the
Southern Xtreme Dirtcar Series point standings after his eighth place run in
the Southern XDCS event at the New Thunder Valley Speedway in Lawndale, NC
last Friday night. The event was a 50-lapper and paid $5,000 to the winner
out of the $25,000 purse. The pilot of the Sheltra & Sons Construction /
Brady Ranch #23 Rocket / Clements Grand Prix is also leading the Southern
XDCS Rookie of the Year point standings after four events.

On Saturday night, Patrick and the team traveled to the Sumter Speedway in
Sumter, SC for a $4,000 to win Carolina Clash event. "Mr. Showtime" was as
high as sixth in the feature event before problems with his steering wheel
forced him to lose several positions. The problem relegated him to a
disappointing sixteenth place finish.
