Pevely--Water--Water--Water--Water--Water, Give us some good racing for the WOO!!!!!

That’s cool, been going to Pevely for a long time. I like the old days before they redid the dirt...Gundaker, Dixon and others blasting around the top and Mark Oller sneaking around the bottom. Any given night any of about 10 drivers could win…not that way now.

Remember Bo Smith... superfly#7?...he was fun to watch. Dixon still does a good job. Maybe with the new sponsorship package he can pick it up a notch?

First of all let me clarify my back ground, I been going to have dirt track racing starting in 1976, I have been to over 200 race tracks…HAVE YOU??? Additionally I have Pitted for 3 or 4 top LM name drives...So I do understand racing surfaces.

Yes I-55 is smooth but so are asphalt tracks. Last week did you notice that dust was already appearing during hot laps. I sit on the back strait away and people around us were already complaining about the dust.

Secondly I know Kenny, the 9 car driver, he also drives a 99 car and has a 52 truck and a airplane. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO HIS SHOP? I have. Did you know Ray Marler was at BC last night…you act on here as people don’t have a clue. Did know when I-55 was going to host the UMP Round Up, Ray had hired Kurt Benedict to prep the track for that show? Have you ever spoken to Ray or Sue? I have!!!

Go to Tri City when the track starts getting dusty they bring the light sprayer truck. Also you must have been on you 8[SUP]th[/SUP] or 10[SUP]th[/SUP] beer last Saturday night if you thing that was a good track. Did you notice before the feature I-55 brought the water truck out and watered the top and bottom of the track….hoping to keep two groves!!!!

Some of you would not know a good racing surface if it bit you, I don’t know why you start pulling stuff out of your rear end…when you really don’t have a clue what you are talking about. Last night BC that had a great racing surface all night…not the dry slick, rubbered up dust bowl night week at I-55. A little water goes a long way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all your connections, why don't you discuss this face to face with your best buds Kenny and Ray? I'm sure Kenny and Ray are scanning this message board for track prep suggestions.

Well you got your water! Have you seen any side by side racing yet?
Ray, Kenny hope you got to see the fine job Kurt did on the BC track tonight!!!!1

Please let us know if you are intending to put water on the track for The WOO/Pepsi Nationals. Hope you dont use the bust bowl method like last week. No water we will not attend...thank you. It is my understanding that Kurt use 20K gallons for BC...your dust bowl method really ****s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wat Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water Water

Thank You

PS Maybe you could hire Kurt to maintain I-55, then you would truly have the best racing in the Mid West....just a thought.

Silly threatening post putting down the track surface at Pevely. Glad Kurt's doing a better job at BC.... Guess he finally figured out how to get rid of the foot deep ruts in the turns.

A rough race track with Kurt is VERY rare. The guys who he took over for were responsible for the crap track we used to have.

Last weeks track conditions were the best I have seen at any track all year! Slick smooth and no cushion! I dont like to eat the dust either but if you don't want to get dirty go pavement racing, then you can watch more follow the leader like it is when its wet and sticky. The only thing wet race tracks are good for is giving guys who cant use thier foot and head a chance to be fast enopugh to tear up lots of equipment! Not to mention heavy race tracks are just hard on everything and cost the racers more money.

Amen! The people asking for water dont understand that!

Get ready for train races and destroyed race cars this weekend @ Tri City. The tracks been Heavy and rough all season.

Tri-City has been heavy and even rough some nights, but I haven't seen very much in the way of train races there this year.

In fact, this past Friday was probably one of the top 5 late model and crate late model features I've seen all season anywhere.
