how many late models are locked in saturday night???
 
If I'm not mistaken they run a regular show for mods and lm's on championship nights, not sure if any are locked in.

What's the difference between being 'locked in' and 'guaranteed a starting spot'? If you are locked in does that refer to a specific starting place (1st in points on pole, etc)? Thanks.

No, it means if they don't make the feature through the heat or semi, they get a provisional to start at the back.
 
So if the top 6 don't make the feature and have to take provisionals they'll start 30 cars!!!!! :eek: Just kiddin' just kiddin....What's the chances? :D:rolleyes::p

Right, so if they get a provisional to start at the back, aren't they 'locked in' to the feature or 'guaranteed a starting spot'? I just don't understand the difference between not being 'locked in' yet still being 'guaranteed a starting spot'.

They are guaranteed an undetermined starting position in the feature, they are not locked into a set starting position(their current point position)
 
In the past on championship night the feature was lined up by the point standings top 18 by points that is the difference!
