thanks Brian I am makin you a special picture for Friday night. Its a total secret my mother is the only one who knows.

Now that I think about it, Chrissy, youre not too bad with that camera yourself! When I first started racing, veteren late model driver C.C. Corbin told to to collect as many pictures as I could. He said at the end of it all the pics would be very important to me. I know you have never heard of him, but the old timers like me have. He was right, and it was probably the best advice he could have given me. Thanks to C.C and thanks to the both of you.

C.C. Corbin

I remember him driving #59 modified at the Pevely Nationals.I believe he is from the St. Loius area.

i ended up with the burger king mod he ran at godfrey, dave watters car,won several features with it

I mostly remember him driving the #27 late model. He was real good, especially on the big tracks. I once talked to him when he was racing at B-ville and when I asked him how things were going he said they should take the walls down in three and four and extend the track to the McDonalds. He was from Alton Il. His nickname was the Ol' Rainmaker. A moniker bestowed on him by Davey Lee the announcer at Tri-City. He was quite a character.
