Is that track still there or has it been tore down?

It's still there. Stopped and checked it out last summer, facility is still in pretty decent shape.

Maybe they will ge tthe facility back up and running since the dragstrip is coming there to town. What do yo all think: Drag racing Fridays and Sundays, Dirt track racing on Saturdays? What a boost that would be for Montgomery County.

I thought the same thing Steven. I think it was certainly a favorite among many people including myself. Perhaps someday. I drive by the place about twice a week and every time I think about the good memories there. The place is resting well. I bet one could make it race ready in a two weeks if motivated enough. I wish I had the funds to buy it.

It would take longer than 2 weeks. Whole place needs to be rewired along with about a million other time consuming things...

That being said, it could be bought and raceable within the near future.
