WHITT Wins the Bettenhausen in commanding fashion

Cole Whitt made short order of the field today in Springfield, Illinois totally dominating the BETTENHAUSEN 100 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Whitt was the class of the field in his CW Management Services, Ferguson- Moen, Red Bull Brannan Chevrolet powered Eagle Chassis sporting Hoosier Racing Tires.
Whitt held off several late charges by runner up Stanbrough and was able to command his lead on several restarts which slowed the field.
Following Whitt at the stripe was Stanbrough, Levi Jones, A.J. Fike and Josh Wise who rounded out the top 5.
Racing action continues tomorrow on the mighty Springfield Mile with the ARCA Automobile Racing Club of America stock cars and the WYNN'S Sportsman Nationals which will bring the fair to a close for it's 157th time!
