Nice job on adding light to the original pictures. Looked dark on the photo page. Really stands out there though.

Tough flip! I saw that tire going away from the car and I knew what was coming next. Sure enough!
 
The hub was not to blame - the center cap out of the wheel broke first tearing the ears off the hub. If you look closely at the pics you'll see that the one ear left on the hub has the lug nut still on it. The same exact thing happened to me at Lake Ozark Speedway with the same wheel (Duralite wheel) causing me to flip as well!

If this truely is the case, someone should inform the manufacturer.
 
Although I was not with the team at I-55 last night, I did work today dis-assembling the car and talked with both Darren and Larry about the incident. It actually was a broken hub that caused the problem. There was no problem with the wheel.

Darren is ok, but sore.

I'm glad to hear that Darren's ok. That was a awfully nasty flip. Hopefully you guys can get a car put together and have some good luck at The Dream.
