By the time they called it quits I had an person sitting in my passenger seat

Nice posting of all the hard work!!!!!----NOW!!!!!!--Why dont you post some of the pictures of the feature winners and other photos of the race on 5-09-09????????Also a full report of the race would be nice for some sponsors to see-they are the ones who sponsor the cars at your track.JMHO.----jim

If you go to the tracks website (www.sfcr-online) and look in the photo gallery you will find pictures from 5-9-09. I didn't get the pictures until Thursday, and I had other commitments Thursday night. Friday I had to take my mother to St. Louis for a surgery. I got them posted first thing Saturday morning.

The track decided to take a different format this year, and they are not going to after 4 races say, that it not working, they are going to ride out the decision and see how it works. They did it, as hard as it may be for some to believe, for the good of the drivers. Give it a little time see how the end results turns out. They may find out it won't work out how they intended but only time will tell.
 
As a long time member of this website I have always appreciated having FULL results of the racing, and it's kind of upsetting that no one is doing it this year. So, I have decided that since I'm conveniently at the races every weekend and keeping track of the modified line ups and results for my boyfriend, that I just as well go ahead and keep FULL results for each class. So the next weekend that we race, I will keep full results of each class in every race and get them posted on here no later than noon Sunday for the good of the fans, as well as the drivers that finish outside the top ten! :D I won't be able to run between boards to get line ups of each class, but I can promise the results!
 
Thanks casey69fan. I can help you with the sprint lineups when I am there. I've missed the last couple of weeks that they raced, but should be back next weekend. Just let me know what you need me to do to help you.
 
Doing FULL results is not always easy as just a fan in the stands. I keep the modified FULL results each week and they can be found on www.eatonracing.net, but I can't say that it's always easy and I'm too busy at the track to keep full results for every class. However, I am a BIG fan of full results being posted each week. I have been told that Cory & Jill have a 'good reason' for not posting full results. That's all that has really been said.
 
good job on posting, they say it is for the driver, i don't think this what the drivers want , if so why have there been so many on here voicing their thoughts and why would anyone want to go to another racers website when it is the track resposibilty to post. and the most important, why would a sponser go to another racers website......come on! the track needs to do their part,again i say they owe it the drivers, sponsers, and the most important the fans. :confused:
 
RACECHICK93, thank you for the offer! Any help would be greatly appreciated, and definetly if you have any suggestions! I think you always did a fantastic job keeping the full results last year!

I've been keeping full results of the modified class, and it's been going pretty well, so hopefully adding another three classes won't be too bad.
 
It is a lot more work than people think, and I had it easy because they gave me the results. I just had to try to remember who was driving which car. When the drivers switch cars it gets more difficult because you just automatically type the original driver with that number. I couldn't keep track of the entire feature finish because I get started watching the race and forget to write the finish down. hahahaha. Good luck to you.
 
hey casey, that is what the track wants, is for you to do work. but sad part of it you will not get paid for it. i know you want to do it for the right reasons, it is sure ashame they refuse to post a full run down of all the classes. i guess they figure the drivers don't deserve it. :confused:
 
I'm not trying to back out of putting full results on here, because I kept them last night. But, after being stopped by Corey himself, and him explaining to me the "good reason" behind not posting full results and asking me not to, I will not be posting them. I'm not going to tell what the good reason is, because I'm not the track owner or promotor, but I can say that from the way he explained it to me, IT IS FOR THE GOOD OF THE DRIVERS, and I'm not going to take away from that.

This is what I was getting at in my earlier post. I was told after week 1 the "good reason" behind SFCR not posting full results each week. I too will not disclose this information as I feel that is between the track and the fans, but I do think the track is doing it for the good of the drivers as well. Unfortunately this cannot be 'public' knowledge. However, we still keep full modified results on our own for the two websites that my husband maintains.
