Bobby Pierce looked to win his first big race of his career at Fairbary. With leading on the last lap the 7T lapped car held him up and Rodney Melvin went by to win the 10K purse.
 
couldn't have said it any better! I wanted 8 in a row :) I'm greedy haha oh well still hell of a win streak for Babb! and i believe he extended his top 10 streak
 
Sorry you feel this way about Rodney.

Congrats to Rodney, Feger and Bobby for putting on a great race for the fans at Fairbury.

"Screwed over"?? Lapped traffic is as much a part of racing as anything..that's when EXPERIENCE comes into play over money and equipment.

people like you are making this sight **** with stupid posts there was no screwing pierce chose the wrong line that was his inexperience not lap traffic screwing him just because you dont like melvin makes no difference
 
i'm sure pierce will learn with time what to do and what not to do with lapped traffic, and i'd like to guess that he'll try not to let what happened last night happen again, but then again rodney has been around for a long while and knows how to drive, he saw the oppurtunity and took it as would anyone else in that position
 
The video on Dirt on Dirt shows little Pierce simply chose the wrong line when working the lapped traffic and Rodney chose the right line. Like Ratly said it is simply a learning experience for him and I guarantee you he will remember what mistake he made next time he is in the situation.
