BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (Sept. 6, 2003) Residents of the City of Potosi dominated the racing action at Big River Sand Drags Saturday night as they captured four of the five top eliminator races.
In Pro ATV, Jimmy Farris of Potosi not only captured first place he also won his top eliminator race over second place finisher Allie Glatczak of Potosi.
In ATV-1, Eric McCoy of Potosi was the top eliminator and first place winner with Allie Glatczak once again settling for second place.
In Junior ATV, Kelston Boyster of Potosi was the first place winner, but it was second place winner, Garth Farris of Potosi, taking the top eliminator race.
In Vehicle ET, Brenda Smith of Mineral Point was the first place winner, but Carla Glatczak of Potosi won the top eliminator race.
In Super Pro ATV, Dan Schmidt of St. Louis was the first place winner with Doug Brown of Bloomsdale taking second place and winning the top eliminator race.
Racing action at Big River Sand Drags will continue this Saturday night with all classes taking part in the festivities. Gates open at 3 p.m. with time trials at 4, registration closing at 6 and racing at 7.
