Millstadt, IL – POWRi presented by Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint series returns to action this Friday night July 16th at Doe Run Raceway in Doe Run, MO and on Saturday night July 17th at the St. Francois Co. Raceway in Farmington, MO. Track promoters Bob Johnson of Doe Run Raceway and Cory Franklin of SFCR have made this an annual event on the POWRi calendar. “This has become a staple weekend for POWRi, we always look forward to this weekend to showcase our Micro Sprint series”, said POWRi co-owner Kenny Brown.
Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, MO holds a slim 15 point margin over Jeremy Camp of Blue Mound, IL in the driver point standings. Camp is coming off a win at Macon Speedway during the NASCAR Night of Stars event last Monday night. Both drivers are looking for their first POWRi Championship. Three-time POWRi and defending champ, Derek King of Vienna, IL holds the third spot in the point standings followed by Brandon Graybeal of Leroy, IL and Joe B. Miller of Millersville, MO rounding out the top five.
