Proper positioning of arm restraints

My grand son is going to race a kart at Doe Run for the first time. WE do not know much about it, so I need to know the proper spot where the arm restraints go and also what gear the cart should have and how to determine that. Thank You !
 
i am just curious what you hook the arm restraint to in a cart. carts don't have belts. in a crash, you want to get away from the cart. unless; it's a cage cart
 
Check The National Speed Sport News site. Check your IMPACT brand of safety equipment. SFI will withdraw it's ratings labeled on IMPACT equipment.
