i heard that there was going to be a late model game coming out this spring or summer has any body else heard about this
 
I haven't heard anything but it wouldn't surprise me too much if they converted DTR2 to PS2, just the opposite of what they did with World of Outlaws 2002. WoO and DTR2 use pretty much the same graphics engine so it probably wouldn't be too much trouble to convert it to PS2 since they've already done all of the work with WoO.
 
Heard it is scheduled to come out in mid-March & it will be called Saturday Night Speedway, or something along those lines.

March 12th is when It SHOULD come out... Dont quote me on that though....

Supposedly its "still in the makeing" but I take a stab at it being dtr2 transfered to ps2 format... Knowing ratbag is most likely will be :D
 
the game is call "saturday night speedway" it has late models, midgets, and street stocks on 15 real oval tracks in the U.S along with figure 8s and 6 fantasy tracks. due in early as march 9th
