Question about Outlaws at I-55

How many people thought the 2 World of Outlaws announcers on Friday and Saturday were too loud??
 
Let's see... I think that was part of the theme Saturday. Everything was loud.. Didn't you hear that pyro going off that would shake the entire grandstands when the BIG ones went off!! They were also blasting loud rock n roll music during the downtime... They were definitely keeping people's attention!
 
loud? now thats funny coming from a race track that makes a lot of noise. The volume was turned up so ALL the announcers were loud. Thay had the place rocken and a great time was had by all. Didnot see anyone leave. Your not trying to bash a fellow announcer are ya? Who ran the sound?
 
I think the one announcer that was interviewing the drivers that walked down the front stretch grandstands thought he was at a WWE event.
 
That other announcer is the infamous Ozzy Altman....He is considered one of the best dirt track announcers in the country.
 
me and my father in law went to the ironman 55 both nights,we both had a great time,i cant wait to go again next year,what a track to watch the world of outlaws on,and the dust was just fine,i love to watch the wsorld of outlaws at i55 i hv seen them race down there more than a few times,i love the speed of the world of outlaws.
 
I have been to numarous WoO sprint car races over the years at Tri-City and Pevely and this was by far the best race I've seen for the sprint cars. I think that Lucas Wolfe will be a force to be reckoned with in the WoO later on down the road.
 
I know we had a great time ! I love the old rock they play ! The pyros was a lot of fun and different ! Down right awesome racing in the Mods and Sportsmans as well ! And out of all the tracks I have seen the sprinhts at I-55 is just the right size for them ! It really becomes a racers race there ! Good Time had here !
 
I didn't like the pyros goin on. I didn't know anything about them doing that when I came in saturday till the first heat was over and I almost needed a change in shorts, LOL.
They did a pretty good job of keeping everyone entertained. Just hope the neighbors up the hill didn't mind the extra noise they had.
 
Can't wait till tickets go on sale for next years Ironman 55, it was, in my opinion, one of the best WoO shows, that i have ever attended, and i've been to alot of them. Thanks to I-55 Raceway for putting on a great show!!!!!!!!!!!
