call me dumb if you want but is their automatic transmissions also in the rams? I don't know a whole lot about this series. also if their is automatics in this series are they competitive?

I have read quite a bit about this over the past 4 years on other forums and the answer is it takes to much power out. The torque converters are heavy. If you take them out you have to run a pump and still the people that I talked with said it was not worth it. If you have some limitations and you just want to race go for it but don't expect to be competitive. I have also saw it. A kid was running one ran for last every week. Decided to change it after he got some experiance and he became a contender in his class. Bobby
