There was just too much rain over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend with the result being the pits and track access areas were just too wet to allow racing to take place on both the regular Sunday night event as well as the Memorial Day Open Wheel Shootout. The O’Reilly Midwest All-Star Sprints have been rescheduled for Sunday, June 1 along with the regular classes of the Budweiser IMCA Late Models, Miller Lite Modifieds and the Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Cars. The Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks will get the evening off from racing for Sunday, June 1. The 410 O’Reilly Sprint Cars will be racing for a $2000 to win, $200 to start main event. The $2500 to Win Modified Shootout will be rescheduled for a later date this summer and will be announced as soon as a decision has been made on the exact date.

Quincy Raceways is still going to offer a special ticket deal for June 1 Special Event to those spectators holding a ticket stub for the May 18 or May 25 race nights. Spectators purchasing tickets with those ticket stubs in hand will receive a $2 per ticket discount for Adult, Senior or Teen tickets. On top of that, all kids 10 and under will get in free. A special Family Ticket will be available for only $45 for two Adults and two Teens, a $5 savings over individual ticket price.
