He slang dirt for 59 years, had hundreds and hundreds of feature wins, championships at tracks all over southeast MO, one of the founders of Empire Speedway (now known as St. Francois County Raceway) and we could go on and on about his accomplishments and how innovative he was.... And aside of all of that he was to his fans, he was a husband, a father, a grandfather, and one heck of a guy. I'd say, and many would agree, he's a legend. Tubby passed away late last night. Praying for Marcie and the family. Arrangements are pending.
