R.I.P. Marty Kopp

I never had the chance to meet Mr. Kopp but this is terrible news! Peace be with the entire Kopp family!!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and all who loved him. He was such a great guy and always smiling. I encourage everyone to come to granite city tomorrow night for we have been working all day getting things ready for his tribute. Sadly missed but never forgotten.

This thread is a true testimony of how many people loved Marty and how many lives he touched. What an amazing man and family he has. He will be truely missed. I hope all the friends and racing community can pull together to help Karla and family get through these trying times. Karla please call me when you can. My wife and I have been making calls all day to assist you and your family.
